SUGARCREEK -- Andrew A. Raber, 48, 5125 County Road 172, Sugarcreek, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at LifeCare Hospice House in Wooster, after a six-month illness.
He was born Jan. 29, 1969, in Holmes County to Atlee M. and Ella (Miller) Raber of Millersburg, and married Fannie Barkman on April 11, 1991. She survives.
He was employed by Winesburg Hardwood in Winesburg and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Steven A., Robert A., Ruth A. (special friend, Allen Miller), Ada Mae, Rosie A., Daniel A. (special friend, Karen Miller), Rebecca A. and Duane A., all of the home; his parents; brothers, Stevie A. (Amanda) of Baltic, David A. (Mary), Allen A. (Katie) and Daniel A. (Barbara), all of Millersburg; a sister, Barbara (James) Yoder of Millersburg; and his father- and mother-in-law, Alvin and Ada Mae Barkman of Fresno.
Services were Friday, March 31, 2017, at 9 a.m. at the Raber residence, with Bishop Ben N. Miller officiating. Burial was in the Troyer Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County. Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek.
