CLOQUET, Minn. -- Timothy P. Valentine, 55, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away in his sleep on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, in Cloquet.
He was born July 17, 1961 in Sandusky, son of the Rev. William and Vivian (Oney) Valentine.
Tim had lived in Cloquet for the past 22 years, and was owner of S.M.R. Inc. He was an outdoorsman who loved his horses and cows. He traveled out west to guide large game hunts.
Tim leaves behind his mother of Shreve; sisters, Debbie (Michael) Wolfe of New London and Barbara (Roy) Miller of Holmesville; brothers, James Valentine of Shreve and Phillip Valentine of Dalton; many nieces and nephews, whom he loved; and many friends in Ohio and Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Bill, Loren and Chuck; paternal grandparents, Frank and Carrie Valentine; and maternal grandparents, Estel and Lucille Oney.
A gathering of family and friends was Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Church of God, Wooster, with the Rev. Tom Geissinger officiating.
