MILLERSBURG -- Debbie Witner, 61, of Millersburg, passed away Friday evening, Feb. 24, 2017, at Massillon Community Hospital, from injuries sustained in a single car accident.
Memorial services were Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Nashville Methodist Church, with pastor Larry Carnes officiating. Burial was in Nashville Cemetery. There were no calling hours. She was born May 9, 1955, in Fort Knox, Ky., the daughter of Malcom Dean and Anna Mae (Schatzinger) Russell, and married Randy Witner on July 8, 1978. He survives.
Debbie worked for Rice-Chadwick Rubber in Killbuck, Majora Lane Care Center of Millersburg, and was currently employed by Millersburg Walmart. She was an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia, enjoyed quilting and line dancing, and loved helping people.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Randy, are a son, Mike Witner of Millersburg; grandchildren, Serena, Savanah and Dillon Witner; siblings, David (Julia) Russell, John (Tracy) Ohse, Danell (Kerry) Taylor and Corina (Mike) Kerr; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Jean Russell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Jack.
She was preceded in death by her father, Malcom Russell; her mother, Anna May Ohse McMhon; a brother, Jim Russell and an infant brother, Donald; and maternal grandmother, Mildred Schatzinger.
