WINESBURG -- Arie A. (Yoder) Raber, 83, of Winesburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, 2017, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born March 9, 1933, to the late Adam and Lydiann (Kauffman) Yoder and married Aden J. Raber on Dec. 30, 1952. He died Dec. 20, 2007. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be greatly missed by her friends, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Elsie (David) Yoder and Katie (William) Byler, both of Winesburg; 11 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fannie (Isaac) Keim of Apple Creek.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters; five brothers; and a great-grandson, Benjamin Neil Yoder.
Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at 9 a.m. at the William Byler residence, 2017 U.S. 62, Winesburg, with Bishop John Alan Hershberger officiating. Burial was in Troyer Cemetery, Paint Township, Holmes County. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton handled arrangements.
