MILLERSBURG -- To support programming to benefit the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, adults and children alike are invited to "Paints and Pals." Holmes County Friends and Neighbors of OneEighty (formerly Every Woman's House) will play host to the event, which is Feb. 25 at the Wallhouse Hotel in Walnut Creek.

The sessions, to be held at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., will be led by retired West Holmes art teacher Cathie Lynch. The 10 a.m. session will include extra instruction for children.

The cost is $15 per person or $25 for two people. Paint, brushes and canvases are supplied, but participants should bring their own paint shirt or smock. All proceeds go directly to support programs for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Financial support for the fundraiser is provided by Commercial and Savings Bank, Hummel Group Inc., Keim Lumber, Millersburg Eagles, Walnut Creek Finishing, Beechy's Inc., Classic Car Wash-Millersburg, NewPointe Community Church-Millersburg campus, Paint Valley Equipment and Killbuck Savings Bank.

Pre-registration is required and reservations can be made by calling Lynch at 330-231-1526 or Kim Mullet at 330-204-0876.
